I had riding lessons as a child and soon I was spending my spare time volunteering at the local riding school. Over the years I realised how much I was gaining and developing personally simply from being around horses. 

 

For over 10 years I worked with children and teenagers with a range of different complex needs and life experiences. I have also worked with children and adults with learning difficulties. I trained as an Integrative Child and Adolescent Counsellor at The Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education (IATE) in Islington and have since worked in both mainstream schools and specialist therapeutic settings.

 

In 2020 I combined my two passions and completed a Diploma in Equine Facilitated Learning and Therapy at Horse Haven UK.

 

I really enjoy meeting and working with people of all ages, guiding them through the therapeutic process alongside the horses.
